Two SAT Prep options now offered

Choose either our 1-week SAT Prep - Fast Track or our standard 2-week SAT Prep as outlined below:

The Cambridge proven Six-Step Approach® has helped more than a million students around the world reach and attain their potential by achieving high test scores. The combination of Cambridge materials, the Six-Step Approach®, and qualified teachers provide the highest-quality SAT Prep course on the market today. This program consists of 24 hours of instruction in addition to the two practice exams.

Step 1: Diagnostic Testing and Assessment Service

The program comes with official, retired tests for everyone. You will take the diagnostic exam at least two weeks prior to the start of camp and send it to Cambridge. Once your pre-exam is graded we will have a detailed assessment as to where you stand at the beginning of the program.

Step 2: Basic Skill Review

You will receive a textbook which includes extensive math and verbal basic skills review.

Step 3: In-Class Problem-Solving, Concepts, and Strategies

Learn powerful test-taking strategies for each test section and question type. Question patterns, frequently tested concepts, test structure, and scoring methods are also covered in complete detail.

Step 4: Practice Test Reinforcement

The Cambridge SAT Victory textbook includes several practice tests to reinforce classroom test-taking strategies. They include accountability forms in order to monitor your effort and progress.

Step 5: Final Exam, Assessment Report, and Review

On the last day of the program, you will take a final, official diagnostic exam and a review of problem areas. You will receive individual reports, pre and post assessment instructor summaries, and an item analysis of your performance on individual questions.

Step 6: Study Plan

At courses end, you will leave with a study plan and work schedule to further prepare for the actual exam. You can overcome continuing problems before your official exam and develop an action plan for the test to maximize your number of correct responses.

Resources and ongoing support are pivotal to your success. You will learn to read effectively, to think critically, and build test-taking skills. Upon completion of the course, you will take home the Cambridge Education manual with four full length practice exams.

In addition to our SAT on site course, 4 Star Camps includes two months' worth of SAT web course access for each participant. This web course subscription will begin at the end of each camp. Cambridge's SAT web course will enable you to continue to build momentum toward your SAT testing date by providing an avenue to implement the personalized plan for growth received in Step Six of the Cambridge course.

Those choosing this program will focus on SAT course work for three hours and then take an essay writing class tailored specifically for the essay portion of the exams during the fourth hour.
