4 STAR CAMPS ADMISSION STANDARDS
Students of all backgrounds have experienced successful summers with 4 Star Camps since 1975. The online registration process does not require high school transcripts or letters of recommendation. However, it is important for students to realize that with each 4 Star Camps program comes the opportunity to grow as a student in academics or athletics.
As you would expect all our instructors expect a lot from our students, and each 4 Star Camps program is founded on the principles of honesty, personal responsibility and the safety of our students.

AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
Once you have registered you need to do the following:
Go to the Forms Tab under parents and fill out our Camper Information Form which will allow you to register for academic courses, afternoon programs, and to fill out our health care form.
If registering during our early registration period all payments must be received before the early registration dates end.
If registering between January 1-April 1st: $500 deposit for Academics Camps must accompany your online application. Balances will be due on April 1st.
If registering between January 1-April 1st: $250 deposit for Tennis or Golf Camps must accompany your online application. Balances will be due on April 1st.
If registering after April 1st: Full payment including application fee and all optional fees must accompany your application.
Tuition Payments are fully refundable only if tuition insurance has been purchased.
If you cancel before April 1 all tuition fees will be returned less $250 per week.
If you have to cancel after April 1, for any reason, we will issue you a VOUCHER for all tuition fees paid, valid through the following calendar year. Your VOUCHER is transferable to any family member and may be used for any program that 4 Star Camps offers.
Full refunds will be given only with the purchase of Cancellation Insurance
4 Star Camps offers our camp families Cancellation Insurance for 5% of your tuition cost which is due at the time of registration.
Cancellation Insurance entitles you to a full refund of your camp tuition fees paid to date.
Please note: Your Cancellation Protection and Registration fee are non-refundable.
Without Cancellation Insurance, if you cancel after your final payment due date, we will issue you a camp voucher for your tuition payments made. Your camp voucher can be transferable to an immediate family member and can be used for any 4 Star camps programs.
For camps running in 2016, camp vouchers are valid through 2017.
4 Star Camps offers a very limited number of financial aid which is intended to help provide outstanding young students some assistance to further their academic and athletic development.
No family should be discouraged from applying to 4 Star Camps because of lack of funds. We welcome a broad cross section of families who believe in their children and in their ability to succeed.
NEED BASED AID
The Financial Aid Committee determines eligibility for need-based aid through a review of a family’s income documentation. Aid amounts vary depending upon the length and cost of the program and the family’s income level. Available funding is limited and need-based financial aid will cover only a portion of the tuition cost.

Admission decisions are need-blind, however failure to upload income documentation at the time of application may result in significant delays and could affect eligibility for financial aid. It is recommended that applicants who are seeking financial aid have a .PDF copy of their tax documents ready before beginning the application for admission.
